This image was created for a woman who is a writer and editor out of Tucson, Arizona. She wanted a visual representation of the work she had set out to do as a writer. Each cactus was chosen based on the reported energetics of each of their flowers (known as flower essences) and what they represent.
The second illustration was created for her while I was researching which cacti to choose. Here I indicated the thinking behind each cactus in the final piece.
